Research shows that leadership is a set of behaviours that can be learned and nutured. By making leadership development accessible and relevant for our young students, they can learn to be leaders and start influencing the people around them positively from a young age.

What is HEROES?

Heroes seeks to provide a framework for students to understand and practise leadership using Applied Drama pedagogy in its programme instruction. This programme is specially created for students aged 10 to 12 years old. With a central theme of adventure, Heroes brings students into the world of Halo Island, which has been plunged into darkness. Together with the Halo Captains, the students will role play as a team of Heroes travelling around the five different regions of Halo Island in search of the gemstones, while working together as a team and learning to become exemplary leaders in their own right.

Adapted from The Leadership Challenge® and its Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership. It is an evidence-based model with clear actionable steps.

The simplified language, colourful images, and props intensive approach make it appropriate for students in Primary School.

Designed using Applied Drama pedagogy to make it especially engaging for younger students.

Our consultants can work with you to identify synergies between the Heroes programmes and other aspects of student experiences:
e.g. Values-in-Action projects, cohort camps, leaders’ projects
