Are you looking for a head start in a career related to your course of study? Halogen Foundation Singapore has partnered with Tan Chong International Limited to provide a three-month mentorship programme for tertiary students who are looking for job opportunities and personal development.

This programme offers opportunities for youths to gain invaluable insights on topics such as goal setting, personal branding and financial planning. Successful applicants will be mentored one-on-one by managers from Marketing, Customer Experience, Corporate Communications, Human Resource, IT, Aftersales, Hospitality, and Product Planning. The opportunities are in the motoring, hospitality and food & beverage sectors.

In addition to learning from their mentors, mentees who successfully complete the programme and have displayed excellent self-leadership can look forward to six-month internships and potential job offers.

Commitment Required of Mentees:

  1. Applicants should be tertiary students.
  2. Completion of pre, mid, and post-impact survey (online).
  3. Attend online interview on 23 July or 24 July; only 10 applicants will be shortlisted for the mentorship.
  4. Attend a one-hour online training for Mentees on 28 July 2020, 5PM – 6PM.
  5. Attend a one-hour launch event on 5 August 2020, 7PM – 8PM.
  6. Mentorship will be done on a one-on-one basis, with Mentees being paired with Mentors based on their diploma/course of study.
  7. Applicants who have completed the Mentoring programme and displayed excellent self-leadership and positive attitude may be offered job/traineeship opportunities by Tan Chong International Limited.
