Halogen is a place that encourages and empowers people to grow, leaving room for them to make mistakes and learn through those experiences. I came to Halogen with no expectations but with an open mind. Despite the lack of experience I have in facilitation skills, Halogen was willing to give me that opportunity to learn and grow. Through the 3-month internship, I have learnt that there is no fixed way of facilitating or training. We have to find a way that we’re comfortable with and best brings out the leadership principles we want to bring across. That’s what I love about Halogen, they equip us with what we need to deliver the content and give us the chance to explore what our expression of facilitation might be, make it our own.
