Abhinav Choudhary is driven by a vision of leveraging technology for social good. With a heart for healthcare and education, he is passionate about using emerging technologies such as quantum computing to address global challenges. In the past, he’s been involved in crafting educational materials for NGOs and Polytechnics, founding a Model United Nations program for primary school students, and the development of an app that addresses mental health challenges in the youth.

Afiq is currently studying IT Systems and Networks at ITE College East. His mission is to enable as many people as possible to reach their goals and dreams, so that they may experience a sense of deep motivation and satisfaction. He also strives to create more awareness around mental health issues. Beyond these, it is his personal dream to become a producer and/or director in the film industry!

Passionate about empowering marginalised communities, Ameya has broken barriers through his venture, Earth First. He has partnered with multiple NGOs to train visually impaired individuals in crafting eco-friendly products, bridging the gap between sustainability and inclusion. Ameya is equally passionate about delving into technology, particularly in its application to tackle social challenges.

Beaverly loves to play sports; not only is she a track and field athlete, she also plays basketball and field hockey! Beyond these, she is also always on the lookout for volunteering opportunities. Having found a love for leading, helping and guiding others, she seeks to share the joy of volunteering with her sports community. Currently a student in ITE College West, Beaverly is pursuing a Higher Nitec course in Accounting and will be graduating next year.

Phaneth is passionate about uplifting and encouraging others. Driven by her desire to support those around her, she leads with a positive example, lends a helping hand, and creates friendly and welcoming environments. She wants to inspire others to believe in themselves and pursue their aspirations. Phaneth joined the Girl’s Brigade as a squad leader and as a non-commissioned officer to give back and make a difference. She is committed to making sure everyone feels important and supported, no matter their financial background and circumstances.

Chrislyn is a curious and self-driven young woman who thrives on learning and helping others. She takes pride in her work and enjoys inspiring those around her to reach their full potential. Dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young people and the environment, she works on initiatives to uplift and empower others to get involved and experience the positive impact of community work.

Claire is a recent graduate of ACJC and will be enrolling into university soon. A fun fact about her is that she loves contemporary dance and swimming. As someone who is passionate about deepening youth volunteerism and elder care, she is excited to embark on this leadership journey to learn about how she can contribute more effectively as a leader to the community, and meet many other like-minded individuals along the way.

Chau is driven by an ambition to empower Vietnamese youths to make tech-enabled impact within their communities. Chau is a co-founder of A.L.I.S, a youth-led startup that utilises tech to uplift the Deaf. Her dedication extends beyond the organisation, as she actively engages in the Communist Youth Union, fostering a supportive environment where youth can thrive. Chau sets a remarkable standard for aspiring change-makers to innovate.

Edrea is dedicated to bridging societal gaps and fostering unity. Having kickstarted The Wisteria Movement, she rallies like-minded peers in healing intergenerational divides. She constantly champions inclusivity and strives to empower marginalised communities. Edrea’s engagement in team sports and extensive volunteering experiences have amplified her passion for igniting positive change alongside fellow volunteers.

Felicia is dedicated to enhancing executive functioning skills in youth to empower them to reach their full potential. She founded Project Expeditus in 2021, where she merges her passion for computer science with her commitment to youth development in Southeast Asia. Through innovative solutions, Felicia strives to equip young individuals with the tools they need to succeed. Passionate about making a difference, she is driven to uplift communities and foster positive change.

Fiona believes in listening as much as she speaks and understanding as much as she inspires. Beyond the classroom, Fiona puts her wealth of knowledge into curating a personal investment portfolio, supporting nascent environmental social enterprises. Passionate about change-making, youth leadership, and chronic wound awareness, she founded ChroniCare and a youth literary magazine to create platforms that uplift and inspire. Her leadership is defined by empathy, inclusivity, and a visionary outlook, crafting a legacy that encourages and empowers the next generation of leaders.

Fuelled by his thirst for knowledge, Dhasil is an ardent believer in the life-long learning experience, diving headfirst into new opportunities that intrigue him. As an advocate for educational equity, he regularly volunteers at or starts initiatives that supports the cause. When not analysing the philosophical aspects of cartoon shows, he indulges in new hobbies that he’s had no prior experience in – from rock climbing to coding – expanding his skill tree ever so slightly!

Ting Jia is an impassioned individual who holds advocating for improvement in institutional mental health, reducing social stigma against marginalised communities, and serving the larger community through volunteering in high regard. Having served as President of Hwa Chong Students’ Council and aiming to forge positive-shared memories for students; she understands the importance of empowering others and navigating being a woman in leadership. This fuels her interest in learning from a group of passionate Fellows, who are willing to serve.

Akhshay blends a curiosity for economic workings with a flair for leadership. At the helm of FinWise, he’s the driving force behind programs that turn complex financial concepts into accessible knowledge for Singapore’s youth. His leadership roles in various clubs at Nanyang Polytechnic are not just titles — they are platforms serving as catalysts for innovation and fostering a vibrant community in the serious world of finance. Akhshay’s approach is collaborative, always seeking to uplift others as they journey together.

Si Jia is driven by her passion for equal access to education regardless of socioeconomic status. As an active volunteer in the community, she has spearheaded multiple enrichment and tuition sessions for students from low-income backgrounds. The intersection of her leadership pedagogy and interests in debate pushes her to continuously advocate for a multitude of social issues.

Kyra believes everyone has special stories that they can use to support each other. Beyond that, she is driven by a deeper purpose: building an inclusive society that embraces each person’s uniqueness. She is especially passionate about advocating for dyslexia awareness. Her motto is “progress, not perfection” - she strives to do a little better than the day before, making small steps toward a more understanding and supportive world.

As a science high school student, Cream is passionate about addressing educational inequality. She strives to drive positive change in her community by teaching local students how to start businesses using local resources and add value through scientific methods. After spending a year as an exchange student in the U.S., she gained new perspectives on education and entrepreneurship. Currently exploring interests in finance and philosophy, Cream has also opened a TED Talk and Philosophy club at her school, providing students with a space to express themselves and explore diverse ideas.

Thi’s grandfather was a man of few words, but there was a line he said that resonates to Thi: “Study, my child, only through studying can you become a good person.” Deeply concerned about the educational inequality between mountainous and urban areas, Thi aspires to bridge the gap by providing children in her community with a free English learning program. Thi strongly believes this will foster their personal growth in today’s globalised world. More than just a young leader, Thi is a trusted companion on a positive path towards catalysing change.

Nieve’s journey began after a first-hand experience in tutoring children led her to start, Learning Seeds, her passion project providing holistic mentoring to children from underserved backgrounds. Dedicated to the community she serves, she founded, Happy Feet, to give lesser privileged children an avenue to express themselves through dance. Her genuine commitment to service inspires those around her, creating a cycle of change for the betterment of our society.

Peak is really passionate about public health and ecology. Driven by a passion to improve the quality of life in her community, she completed a project on waste separation wherein they used cloth bags instead of plastic bags for patients receiving medication in hospitals. At this juncture, the ongoing project she is working on utilises AI to identify diseases that are challenging to detect in order to improve the health of her local community.

In her free time Nam likes to travel. Through travelling, Nam is exposed to different issues and she tries to think of ways to improve them. She is passionate about working with kids and the elderly to enrich their lives. She wants to provide educational opportunities for children by donating books and teaching children who lack access to quality education. She also wants to start conversations with the elderly and teach them how to access and use the internet effectively.

Molica’s passion is to improve education and community development in rural areas. Her deep belief and focus in this area has led her to volunteer in programs that help children in rural areas by providing school supplies and mentoring. She strives to make English and education available in her country Cambodia, especially among those who lack proper education and basic school supplies. Additionally, she also mentors and teaches English to children in her community church, to help strengthen their skills in English to the best of her abilities.

Punnatat’s background in scientific research inspired him to be an agent of positive change. His journey has taught him valuable lessons in leadership, teamwork, and empathy. He believes that while science is the key to solving global issues, it must be complemented by strong interpersonal skills. Punnatat co-founded and led multiple organisations to address issues such as mental health stigmatisation at “YouDee” and inequality in STEM education at “YouthForStem.”

Bhavya’s leadership journey began in Secondary 2 and was marked by challenges and triumphs. Besides heading Edgefield Secondary School’s Peer Support Leaders Committee, it is with unwavering determination that she dedicates herself to making meaningful contributions to her community and driving positive change, particularly in addressing teenage mental health issues. She is eager to collaborate with other young leaders to strive towards a better tomorrow!

Vatey is passionate about pursuing work that develops both herself and her community. She strongly believes in gender equality and female representation, rallying female leaders amongst her peers to participate in STEM projects and demonstrate their capabilities in traditionally male-dominated fields. She has joined many STEM projects focusing on the effects of global warming, leading her team to innovate and create solutions.

Empowering the vulnerable, facilitating inclusion and simultaneously honing her leadership skills have been Rhea’s key passions. She previously served as a member of her school’s student council and took on leadership roles in the Model United Nations. These endeavours have fuelled her desire to advocate for issues impacting our society. She believes that vulnerability extends beyond physical and mental disabilities, and has started a project focused on enhancing financial inclusion for women in need.

Rupa is a staunch advocate for the rules of the heart and puts empathy at the forefront of his work. He has been blessed to serve as the Director of the National Debate Development Program organised by the Ministry of Education, where he nurtures secondary school debaters. As the youngest member of the Chief Adjudication Panel for the Singaporean Secondary School Debating Championship 2024, he channels his energy towards making debate accessible.

Suyeon believes in daring to take on challenges without a fear of failing. With a passion in youth empowerment and entrepreneurship, Suyeon co-founded a photobooth business, To Our Youth in 2023. She is also working with her friends on HOO, a sustainability start-up which has raised over $65,000 to date. She also co-founded Learning Seeds, a community engagement project to further spread the message.

Sincere is passionate about serving the community and the underserved. She is dedicated to bringing change through leading and inspiring the people around her. She is currently serving as a core member of Orasight, an initiative that raises awareness about visual impairments amongst others. Volunteering regularly has allowed her to reach out to the community on a deeper level and she strives to widen her impact on society.

Bo Yan has championed meaningful causes like raising funds for children with cancer to lighten their financial strain and tackling social isolation amongst seniors through a project focused on building intergenerational bonds. She also enjoys meeting new people and listening to their life stories, gaining new insights in the process. It is Bo Yan’s belief that to go far in life, one must understand the essence of going together as a team.

Tara is compassionate and caring. She is committed to catalysing positive change in her community. Passionate about youth empowerment, global affairs and socio-economic disparities, Tara actively participates in related activities in and out of school to fulfil her passions. In her free time, Tara likes to scuba dive and travel. She hopes to further her education in economics and history, or a related field.

Carolyn is a self-driven leader committed to providing inclusive education for all youths regardless of their academic background. She believes leadership is beyond just a title earned and she is proactively involved in various initiatives for local and international communities to bring enrichment opportunities to youths. Carolyn is adamant that an individual’s upbringing and educational background should not limit their potential.

Few service opportunities daunt Hieu Thy (or Sophia, as most know her). From promoting literacy skills to giving dance lessons at local orphanages, she’s realised her passion in enabling holistic educational opportunities. Currently, Sophia works to develop speaking skills in underserved children, with the goal of building confidence through communication. Enthusiastic, curious and empathetic, she’s eager to embark upon this new stage of her leadership journey.

As a dedicated young leader, Reva is driven to build a more inclusive and adaptable society. She is always eager to delve into prevalent societal issues, exhibiting a deep passion in advocating for mental health and socioeconomic equality within the community. Forward-thinking and deeply committed to her goal, Reva aspires to empower the next generation of leaders to enact meaningful change in a society where everyone’s voice is valued and equality prevails.

With an ambition to impact disadvantaged youths in Vietnam, Nhung engages in projects protecting the voices of youths through promoting their work in social activities. That is also the mission of her team - Youth Dragon. Together with her friends, Nhung organised the project, “Sit here and let’s talk” to help teenagers learn about their emotions and cultivate healthy ways to heal from past grievances. Nhung hopes to initiate positive change through her work.
